Okay so I have been asked this question a lot and I was curious what people thought. When it comes to marketing we use email lists to reach out to potential clients and get them the information they need. Now we normally get these emails through them entering their information in a forum. Now spammers get their information from a lot of different sources but I haven’t really looked into it. Does anyone have info on ways for people to protect themselves from these spammers?
Most of the answers here are correct. Both the emails are sent to people who least expect your mails According to me here are some key differences between the two –
1. Spam emails have poor language and include a lot of images. Cold emails have excellent language and minimal images.
2. A cold email has a lot of strategy and research behind it. While a spam email has none.
3. The primary intention of a cold email is a click from the mail receiver while that of a spam email is just viewing the contents.
