I saw this somewhere and I was curious as to what you guys would think. What do you believe to be the simplest way and most flexible way to market for your company on and offline? For me so far it has been social media, specifically Facebook, what do you guys think?00

Kevin GarnetParticipantWell that depends on the business you are in honestly. It come’s down to each individual company and what they are looking for. If you are an online ecommerce company then I feel like social media should be your bread and butter. You know your audience and can reach out to the exact one your looking for. Now Facebook is always my go to but if you are trying to reach a younger audience then maybe Instagram or Twitter may work better. But lets say you are a construction company, maybe a mix of flyers, newspaper ads and online advertising may be best for you.00

But wouldn’t social media be good for service based companies as well? Creating video content for instance and putting it on Facebook might get people who are looking to renovate their home, something to think about. I think it depends more on how they utilize the platform because they can all be used, if done correctly, to help market a company.00

Akshay MParticipantA product can only be marketable if you create awareness for it, research the demographics and target them accordingly either offline/online forms of marketing.

Samantha ByamParticipantWell social media in my opinion is always the best way to advertise for one reason and one reason only, its FREE. LOL well its not the only reason but that is my main one. You don’t have to pay to advertise on SM unless you absolutely want to. If you have a good understanding of your brand, who your audience is and what you are trying to obtain from them then it makes the process to grow pretty simple. Not not saying it starts off easy, it does take a lot of work. But if you keep working at it slowly but surely then you can get your business out there, have a good following and continue growing free of charge. Which SM platform you use now depends on the audience you are trying to reach.00
