The company I work for keeps our prices behind a log in and password that our customers must have in order to obtain a quote for the service we provide. Our competition requires the same. Most of my competition along with my company have a disclaimer on our quote that says that it may not be shared with any other third party. Well my company has now started basing a portion of our pay on obtaining specific scenario quotes from our competition via our current customers. Is this just unethical or is it also illegal?
